Q: How do you turn off email notifications?
Ans: Once you are logged in, go to the settings link which is in the Welcome box. Then you can turn the email notifications on or off. If it has a check that means its on and if there is no check that means it's off.
Q: How do I make my profile private?
Ans: Once your in the "My Account" section click on the link "Edit Profile" underneath your picture. From here you will be able to make it private or public. Note that at the moment, a private profile wont even come up if people search you. Soon it will be so that your username will come up, but people wont be able to see you unless you accept their friend request.
Q: How do I "Add a Friend"
Ans: There are sevaral ways to do this. One way is to click on the link "Invite Friends" in your welcome box. Then choose which kind of friends you are looking for, people already using ZMIVE or friends you want to invite to ZMIVE and then type in the name and click submit. The other way is to go into a users profile and click the "Add to Friends" link underneath their profile.
Q: How do I know if a friend has accepted my friend request?
Ans: umm you can't, ha. Just kidding, the only way to check is going to your friends list and seeing if they are on there. I realize this is annoying and soon you will just get a notification when they accept your request. Thanks for hanging in there!
Q: How do I create a Group?
Ans: Once you have created a free account go into your "my account" page and on the right hand side you'll see a box "Create groups". In the box there is a link called "Create Group", click on the link and the instuctions will take you from there.
Q: How do I create a meeting?
Ans: Only Admins have the control to create meetings. So if you have created your own group, you can start a meeting. When in your group page, scroll down to the meeting section. Click on the link, "create a meeting". From there you have the choice of making a weekly meeting, or you can make a one time meeting, by choosing a day on the calender.
Q: How do you join a meeting?
Ans: When you are in the group, click "join meeting". This means that you have only joined the meeting, sort of like joining a group. Now to actually go into the chatroom, you have to click on "Launch Webchat" It will only say this if it is actually time for the meeting to start.
